Blindsided

Izdahl said he was embarrassed by me. I want to believe he didn’t mean that. However, as I walked away from him, he offered no apology.

I have to admit I was surprised by the conversation we had. I knew that he’d been upset but his reasons for being angry deeply affected me. Even so, I’ve stepped back and really considered his words and I realize he’s right. I have been holding back. There is something extremely important that I’ve been reluctant to discuss with him. Maybe it’s time I see past my fears and let him know.
