Armando Medina suffered a tragic loss at the hands of some Nitelvosa, supernatural beings who control his world. For decades, he’s been unable to forget the horrific night when his life changed.

Izdahl Amasi, a member of a prominent Nitelvosa family, had briefly dated Armando. He’d hoped for much more, but Armando’s trauma drove a painful wedge between them. With each passing day, Izdahl’s heart grew heavier, as he thought of what could have been.

Now, Armando and Izdahl find themselves connected in unexpected ways. Despite how much Armando tries to avoid the truth of their attraction, he’s drawn to Izdahl. Looming over them are events from Armando’s youth and the mystery of who’s responsible for his anguish. Can Armando open his heart and trust Izdahl? Or will Izdahl stop believing they have a chance?

New Sci-Fi Romance Series!

Cityscape with birds flying. The city is divided by a wide river with a bridge. One side of the city has a massive figure with wings, kneeling above the buildings.

Since I’ve completed The Agitator’s Code Series, my focus is on publishing Awakening this summer. It will be book one in The Architect’s Guardian, a new exciting sci-fi series.

The main characters in this m/m romance are Armando Medina and Izdahl Amasi. While they were close during their childhood, tragic circumstances separated them. As a result, they must navigate difficult paths. The series explores how strongly connected they are, what they’re willing to do for each other, and the impact they’ll have on their society. At the center of the chaos is a mystery about Armando and his family.

One of my favorite parts of writing is worldbuilding. That’s definitely the case with this series. Humans aren’t on Earth. They’re on Planet Ghenza, home to the Nitelvosa. The Nitelvosa are imposing beings who fly, wield the elements, and perform various types of magic. Some Nitelvosa are much more powerful than others, and not all are in favor of Humans. In addition, the Nitelvosa have conflicts among themselves that are held in check by shaky truces.

Izdahl comes from a prominent Nitelvosa family, while Armando is from a Human family that sought more societal influence. How will Armando and Izdahl navigate tricky internal and external conflicts? Find out soon!

Be on the lookout for my cover reveal and a pre-order link. 😉

The Architect’s Guardian: Chapter 50

Izdahl participates in the opening ceremonies for the Elite Fire Sparring, in The Architect’s Guardian, Chapter 50. Here’s an excerpt:

Izdahl held his head in his hands, momentarily lost as waves of sharp pain cascaded in his skull. He blinked several times, trying to clear his vision. When his eyesight stopped blurring, Metienne was the first person he saw. She loomed over him and grinned. She casually touched his shirt with one index finger and it burst into flames. Smoke curled off Izdahl, as he used his water elemental powers to put out the fire. As steam rose off him, he took a deep breath, to get his temper under control.

The Architect’s Guardian: Chapter 49

Armando and Izdahl make more memories at the cabin, in The Architect’s Guardian, Chapter 49. Here’s an excerpt:

The next morning, Izdahl rested casually by Armando, his head propped up on his left hand. He smiled, as Armando awakened and his lover’s vibrant hazel eyes adjusted to the light.

“Seriously?” Armando asked. “You watch me sleep?”

“Yes. It’s the first time you’ve caught me doing it.”

“I don’t know how I feel about that.”

Izdahl tousled his lover’s hair. “Be honored by my stealth admiration.”

Lakeside Cabin

Lakeside Cabin

With the important Gathering approaching, Armando and Izdahl take some time to relax, in The Architect’s Guardian, Chapter 48. Here’s an excerpt:

Izdahl started undressing and Armando smiled.

“Come here.” Armando reached for his lover.

“Not now. You aren’t as aware as I’d like you to be. I have plans, Mr. Medina. And I need you to be fully awake.”

Armando laughed. “Should I be worried?”

Izdahl paused in unbuttoning his pants. “A little. There’s a reason I chose the most secluded cabin.”

The Architect’s Guardian: Chapter 47

puzzle-1152792_1280Armando, Izdahl and Dagmar are all seeking the truth, in different ways, in The Architect’s Guardian, Chapter 47. Here’s an excerpt:

Armando chose not to offer a denial about Dagmar’s speculation, as doing so would have sounded hollow. Dagmar didn’t press for an answer. He wasn’t particularly interested in one, as there was a larger matter. As opposed to what he’d led Armando to believe, the shield wasn’t the reason he’d wanted the architect in his home.

The Architect’s Guardian: Chapter 46

Spiral by AstroniraArmando goes into a spiral of panic, when he receives an unexpected invitation from Kelcho Dagmar Havad, in The Architect’s Guardian, Chapter 46. Here’s an excerpt:

Armando was reading the invitation again, as dread coursed through him. He wasn’t sure if his unease was because of who had sent the request or because of how it had arrived. Dagmar had dispatched Elij, his highest ranking assistant, to personally deliver a request to join him for dinner that weekend. The invitation bearing the seal of the Havad clan and the old-fashioned delivery method both carried gravity.
